F-1 Student Visa Requirements
A student visa to the United States requires that the applicant arrives in the country to study at an American institution. A foreign citizen must be studying full-time and have valid educational purposes for coming to the United States. Part-time students on F-1 Visas are not allowed. As long as the student is enrolled at school, he/she can remain in the United States. The F-1 student visa can be issued by the U.S. Embassy in the student’s country.

- To avoid problems at the U.S. entry port, it is crucial that F-1 Student Visa holders have all required documents and signed authorizations.

- Students can work on campus while they are enrolled in school.
